Welcome to my gallery of paintings. I have laid out a feast for your eyes. Enjoy the buffet and don't forget to get in touch if my work appeals to your senses. My latest collection of six varied black canvases have no apparent theme connecting them, other than they are all acrylic and two are a dyptich of the same scene. My inspiration is free assimilation of nature; be it flowers, animals or people and an emotional translation of that through the medium of canvas, paper or board using watercolour, acrylic or oils.

My philosophy: Endeavouring to live the best life that we can together in grateful harmony with nature.

Felicity is a little known self-taught artist, who has previously published her own hand-painted, blank greetings cards using her own website, without the benefits of a buzzing social media presence. Since then she decided to try social media and go online with her own Instagram account @felbryant and website (August 2020) art gallery and this is proving increasingly successful with many wonderful comments:

Felicity is married, a mother and grandmother now with a lifelong passion for art and music and time has enabled her to grow a portfolio that she will be revealing to you over the weeks and months to come.

She has recently entered Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year Competition 2024 and hopes that her landscapes and botanical paintings resonate with you.

This is me, Felicity, proudly displaying two of my botanical watercolours and the painting behind me is an oil painting of our conservatory dining room bathed in sunlight.

This gleaming bear is a zen -like peaceful being floating around whilst ice chunks of many colours bob in multi-coloured splendour about him. His world may be crumbling. He could be yours. Who would like to take this delightful, abstract bear in from the cold? Pearlescent silver blue and golden pink footsteps leave a trail at the scene of a shower whilst the couple in miniature are frozen in time under the streaming waterfall above. There are five scenes depicting different watery worlds; the first, the shower scene already aluded to, the other, a young person throwing a ball for a dog at a lake, a middle eastern vase fountain room, a mediterranean sea view and top left a meandering river threads its serpentine way down a valley: all by moonlight. Described by a liker on Instagram as 'Lovely'. Dimensions: 16 x 12 x .75 of an inch.

"Young Sporting Couple Of The Dales"

I had fun painting these two fictional characters and the landscape behind them with the figures running and walking as they ascend the hill. I think that there is a charm about this scene and the interpretation of their emotions as they look at one another, wearing their irridescent shirts in gold and silver blue. There is the sense that whatever their positions in life, they are or will be, deserving champions in command of their own destiny. Their rock steady presence will be an anchor in your life.
